It's going on probably the fifth day now. I've kinda grown attached to it. Despite how deadly afraid I am of possibly poisonous spider bites, too. X) It hardly moves, really. Can stay in one spot for hours on end with no movement until a breeze flows by it.
So, earlier yesterday, it moves to near the center of the sink at my normal time for toothbrushing. It had been doing that since the day after it showed up. I went about my getting ready for work and whatnot, careful to not let any water or toothpaste/saliva combo to touch it. Only afew drops hit it, but it's used to a little splashing and only shifts slightly. It runs a small circle around the sink as I leave for the rest of my day, settling into position a few inches from the drain.
I come home later on and go about the rest of my day, seeing it in the same spot each time I enter the latrine. It reaches that time to end up the day and go shower and toofbuush and all. I go get everything done and brush up. Some water touches the spider's leg as it rushes in its slighly lesser swirl around the sink's drain. The spider doesn't move.
I stare for a moment, tilt my head, and give a little puff of air towards it. The spider remains unmoving. I heave a sigh and bow my head a few degrees, realizing that it had probably died earlier on after circling the sink when I left for my workday.
This was the night I'd started to think of a name for the lil' dude, too. Spider was always a cool name, anyways.
Rest in Peace, Spider. Your short life will remain in memory.

Hi there (again)
A few weeks? It's been more like months hasn't it? XD Well, at least you replied! Are you well? I believe we were talking about how you had been 'waiting' for me since DM and Tolstoy always used to talk about me?
